Farmington, New Mexico, is set to welcome back commercial air service with United Airlines’ new route from Denver, according to published reports.
Beginning May 8, United Express affiliate SkyWest Airlines will operate the flight, offering 50-seat CRJ-200 regional jets on the route. This marks the first return of air service to Farmington’s Four Corners Regional Airport (FMN) since 2017, according to TPG. United’s move is a part of the airline’s broader effort to rebuild its domestic network, which has been reshaped since the pandemic. Travelers in Farmington can now connect to United’s Denver hub, providing access to hundreds of nonstop flights worldwide.
