With this in mind, Hervé Boury, who is the Chief Operations Officer of the carrier, has been given the role of CEO at HOP!
The CEO of Air France-KLM, Benjamin Smith, commented on these changes:
“Decarbonization and our ability to drive our business in a more sustainable way are among the most strategic challenges our Group has to tackle”.
“I would like to thank Nathalie Stubler for the remarkable and tireless work she has carried out together with her teams at Transavia (France) over the past 7 years.”
The Air France-KLM Group have clearly set out over the last few years their strategy towards decarbonization and sustainability.
First off, we have the fleet within the group. The group has set out plans to have 64% of its fleet consisting of new-generation aircraft by 2028.
This, in turn, will generate around 15% worth of savings in terms of CO2 emissions.
