Belgrade Airport registers busiest year on record

Belgrade Airport handled 8.911.987 passengers in 2025, representing its busiest year on record. The figure marks an increase of 6.5% in 2024 or growth of over 544.000 travellers. The number of commercial aircraft movements grew 3.9% to 89.480. During 2025, Air Serbia was the largest carrier by available seats, while the ATR72-600 was the most common aircraft type based on the number of operated flights at Belgrade Airport, just ahead of the Airbus A319. During the year, Serbia’s capital was most connected with Zurich, followed by Vienna, Podgorica and Istanbul.
