
Aviation news international- Fly Lili (LIL, Sibiu) conducted preparation flights between Sibiu and Bucharest Baneasa on April 19 with one of its two A320-200s, YR-LIA (msn 2422), before the aircraft flew to Antalya and Dalaman in Turkey on April 20, ADS B-data reveals.
According to the Romanian news site BoardingPass, the startup plans to formally launch charter flights on April 28, 2023. It has been advertising for experienced A320 cabin crew on its social media pages. The aircraft conducted flights between the Turkish cities on April 23 before returning to Bucharest, ADS B data showed.
As reported the airline has already secured two A320-200s on long-term dry-lease from Carlyle Aviation Partners. The 180-seater YR-LIA formerly flew with Air Busan (BX, Busan) as EI-HJA.
The second A320-200, N359CL (msn 2359), is an 18.1-year-old jet formerly operated by Brazil’s ITA Transportes Aéreos (Sao Paulo Guarulhos) and is currently still stored at Tucson International, US, according to ADS B-data. It is to be registered as YR-LIB in…
