BOC Aviation announces purchase of six Airbus aircraft

ingaporean aircraft leasing company BOC Aviation has announced the purchase of four A321 neo aircraft and two new A320 neo aircraft from Airbus.

The six aircraft purchased are set to be leased to Condor, a German airline, on long-term leases, with scheduled deliveries in 2027 and 2028.

Steven Townend, Deputy Managing Director and Chief Financial Officer of BOC Aviation emphasised how this deal will boost its aviation model.

Townend said: “We are delighted to be working with Condor once again, supporting its fleet growth and renewal with these six latest technology aircraft”.

“This transaction adds to our delivery pipeline of the world’s most advanced aircraft models, which will enable our Company to continue on its path of long-term sustainable growth.”

According to Condor, since December 2022, it has received around one new aircraft every month and aims to renew its fleet with “efficient and modern jets” by April 2024.
