Qatar, Iran Sign MOU in the Field of Air Transport

Bilateral talks were held between the civil aviation authorities of the State of Qatar and the Islamic Republic of Iran. The talks resulted in positive outcomes, notably the signing of a memorandum of understanding that outlines an increase in air transport rights between the two nations.
On the Qatari side, Mr. Mohamed bin Faleh Al-Hajri, In Charge of Managing QCAA, signed the agreement, while the Iranian side by His Excellency Mr. Hossein Pourfarzaneh, President of the Iranian Civil Aviation Organization. The signing ceremony was attended by His Excellency Mr. Ali Saleh Abadi, the Ambassador of the Islamic Republic of Iran to Qatar.
The talks focused on ways to overcome operational challenges faced by airlines in both countries and explored avenues for enhancing cooperation in the field of air transport. Additionally, the two sides exchanged views on a variety of topics of mutual interest within civil aviation.
