Al-Sudani Directs Aviation Authority, Nineveh Governor to Jointly Select Reputable Firm to Operate Mosul Airport

Prime Minister Mohammed S. Al-Sudani met today with the Governor of Nineveh, Mr. Abdulqader Ahmed Dakhil.
“The meeting focused on the overall situation in the province and assessed the progress of strategic and service-related projects, including the Mosul International Airport,” stated the Media Office of the Prime Minister in a statement, received by the Iraqi News Agency-INA.
“Prime Minister Al-Sudani directed the Civil Aviation Authority and the Governor to jointly select a reputable and specialized international company to operate the airport, ensuring full compliance with global standards for airport operations,” the statement added.
the statement further noted that “Prime Minister Al-Sudani also emphasized the need to accelerate the implementation of key development projects across the province adhering to technical specifications and project timelines”.
