HK Express CEO Jeanette Mao remarked: “HK Express is a young and vibrant brand. As Hong Kong’s only low-cost carrier, we are committed to delivering not just affordable fares but also innovative, unique experiences. Being named the World’s Safest Low-Cost Airline earlier this year validates our dedication to service excellence. We’ll continue expanding our Asian network, helping more travellers ‘Gotta Go’ and discover diverse cityscapes, cultures, and cuisines.”
She added: “With the return of our direct flights to Ishigaki, along with direct flights to Naha and the upcoming launch of flights to Miyako (Shimojishima), HK Express becomes the only carrier connecting Hong Kong with all three major airports in Okinawa. We now operate nearly 180 weekly flights between Hong Kong and Japan. Our Japanese network empowers travellers to ‘Live More’ across the country. In Vietnam, Nha Trang becomes our fourth destination after Hanoi, Da Nang, and Phu Quoc, with up to 46 weekly flights connecting key Vietnamese hotspots. This offers an economical yet captivating vacation option where travellers can truly ‘Live More’.”
HK Express Airways also announced the launch of exclusive direct flights between Hong Kong and Changzhou in Jiangsu Province, commencing on 23 May 2025. This new route marks HK Express’s fifth destination in Chinese Mainland. With three weekly flights to Changzhou Benniu International Airport (CZX), customers can reach this dynamic city in just over two hours.
