South Bend International Airport takes aviation education to new heights at annual event

Aviation news international – SOUTH BEND, Ind. (WSBT) — South Bend International Airport hosted its fifth annual Aviation Education Day.
People of all ages were welcomed to the Studebaker Hangar to learn more about flight on Saturday.
The event explored different aspects of aviation through family-friendly activities, games and resources.
There were airfield tours, two F-16 drone demonstrations and aircraft displays.
Event coordinators say the success of the education day is all thanks to the help of many people.
Acting Operations Manager Samantha Brady said, “So, the biggest thing is having partnerships with all the people that are involved. This event would literally not be possible for the pilots flying in, everybody in the Career and Job Opportunity Fair, our maintenance departments, safety departments. So it’s a lot of coordination with everybody.”
