Air aviation news – Dublin based leading specialist Avolon is continuing its growth with the order of 140 new aircraft from Airbus<\/a>\u00a0and\u00a0Boeing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

in its latest round of orders the global finance company has ordered 100\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0A321neos from\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0and 40\u00a0Boeing<\/a>\u00a0737 max jets from\u00a0Boeing<\/a>.<\/p>\n

The orders bring the total of \u201clatest technology\u201d airliners orders for Avolon to 200 this year combined with the previous order of 20\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0A330neos and 40 737 max ordered earlier this year.<\/p>\n

Avolon will use the new aircraft to deliver cutting edge fuel-effecient aircraft to its airline customers around the world.<\/p>\n

Speaking about the\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0order Christian Scherer, Chief Commercial Officer and Head of International at\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0added:\u00a0\u201cThis investment in the A321neo is a testimony by one of the world\u2019s leading lessors to the unprecedented value the world\u2019s most versatile single aisle aircraft generates for its lessor and operator base. It points to Avolon\u2019s vision to secure slots longer term for its strong airline customer portfolio with the right aircraft for the future. This way Avolon and its customers can benefit from the strong wave of growth and replacements being observed globally across all markets,\u201d<\/em><\/p>\n

Both deals are subject to approval from Avalon\u2019s parent company Bohai Leasing Co. Ltd which is expected before the end of 2023.<\/p>\n
