That&#8217;s an old airplane,&#8221; Rosenberg said on &#8220;Fox News Live.&#8221; &#8220;Tires get changed, maintenance people, mechanics at United, change the tires. Something went amiss. I would say, on a recent tire change or some repair, which caused that to come off. That&#8217;s not really a Boeing problem.&#8221;<\/p>\n<p>A second United Airlines plane landed in Medford, Oregon, on Friday with an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/us\/boeing-plane-missing-external-panel-lands-oregon-airport-united-airlines-say\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\"><u>external panel missing<\/u><\/a>. They don&#8217;t want to put them out of business with protocols and safety procedures. But they are the watchdog. And in my view, they&#8217;ve failed one of their primary purposes, which is aircraft safety,&#8221; the aviation expert explained.<\/p>\n<p>He added that he believes the flying public can trust that\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.foxnews.com\/lifestyle\/airline-crew-shortages-delayed-flights-passengers-worst-travel-experience\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">airline travel<\/a>\u00a0is safe.<\/p>\n<p>&#8220;The FAA will get it right and Boeing will hopefully get it right.
