Aviation News International – Global airlines faced disruptions to flights on Monday after Iran\u2019s missile and drone retaliation on Israel further narrowed options for planes navigating between Europe and Asia.<\/div>\n<\/div>\n

While Israel, Jordan, Iraq and Lebanon\u00a0reopened\u00a0their airspaces on Sunday, some routes continue to be affected.<\/p>\n

Below airlines have provided an update:<\/p>\n

Cancelled\/Rerouted<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Germany\u2019s Lufthansa\u00a0suspended its regular flights to and from Tel Aviv, Erbil and Amman up to and including Monday. Flights to Beirut and Tehran will remain suspended until at least Thursday.<\/p>\n

KLM\u00a0cancelled\u00a0all flights to and from Tel Aviv until Tuesday, a spokesperson for the Dutch arm of Air France KLM\u00a0said on Monday.<\/p>\n

Britain\u2019s EasyJet,\u00a0<\/strong>on Sunday,\u00a0paused\u00a0operations to and from Tel Aviv without providing a timeframe.<\/p>\n

Wizz Air\u00a0said it had\u00a0cancelled\u00a0most of its flights to and from Tel Aviv on Saturday through Monday.<\/p>\n

Finnair\u00a0suspended\u00a0operations in Iranian airspace until further notice, which may cause longer flight times on flights from Doha. A spokesperson said the Finnish carrier will reroute over Egypt, resulting in delays of a \u201cfew minutes\u201d.<\/p>\n

A SAS\u00a0spokesperson said flights between Copenhagen and Bangkok fly partially over the region, and one flight had to reroute on the night between Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

IAG-owned\u00a0Iberia Express\u00a0said\u00a0on X social media it would cancel flights to Tel Aviv on Sunday and Monday.<\/p>\n

United Airlines\u00a0cancelled\u00a0Sunday\u2019s planned flight from Newark to Tel Aviv, it said in an emailed statement to\u00a0Reuters<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Air Canada\u00a0warned\u00a0of long delays and cancellations on its Israel flights, and cancelled flights to Tel Aviv on\u00a0Monday and Tuesday.<\/p>\n

Australia\u2019s Qantas Airways\u00a0said on Saturday it had temporarily rerouted flights between Perth and London.<\/p>\n

China Southern Airlines\u00a0cancelled\u00a0Sunday\u2019s flight to Iran, and Hainan Airlines\u00a0said it is monitoring the situation and evaluating whether an upcoming flight to Israel can fly normally, Chinese business outlet, Yicai, reported.<\/p>\n

Air India has cancelled its flights to and from Tel Aviv till April 20. The airline ran five weekly flights to the Israeli city, according to flight tracking platform, Flightradar 24.<\/p>\n

Israel\u2019s El Al Airlines\u00a0cancelled\u00a015 flights scheduled for Saturday and Sunday.<\/p>\n

Smaller Israeli carrier, Arkia,\u00a0<\/strong>said\u00a0it was making adjustments to its flight schedule after initially postponing flights to Athens, Milan and Geneva.<\/p>\n

Some Fly Dubai flights were affected by the closure of airspaces, according to a statement from the Emirati airline on state news agency,\u00a0WAM<\/em>.<\/p>\n

Indian carrier, IndiGo, has rerouted its daily flights to Istanbul from Delhi and Mumbai, according to Flightradar 24. The company, however, did not issue a formal statement on the change. Both flights, which earlier flew over Iran, now fly through Central Asia, according to Flightradar 24.<\/p>\n

Indian carrier, Vistara, co-owned by Tata and Singapore Airlines, said it is \u201cmaking changes to flight-paths\u201d of some of its flights, without providing further details.<\/p>\n

Resumed<\/strong><\/h3>\n

Etihad Airways\u00a0cancelled\u00a0services to Tel Aviv, Israel and Amman, Jordan on Sunday, but\u00a0said\u00a0it planned to operate scheduled passenger and cargo services between Abu Dhabi and Tel Aviv, Amman and Beirut from Monday. It warned \u201cthere may still be a risk of some knock-on disruption\u201d through Monday.<\/p>\n

Emirates Airlines\u00a0resumed\u00a0scheduled operations to and from Jordan, Lebanon and Iraq from Sunday afternoon, a spokesperson said.<\/p>\n

Qatar Airways also resumed services to Amman, Beirut and Baghdad, it\u00a0said\u00a0in a post on X on Sunday.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
