Aviation News – Brazilian airframer\u00a0Embraer<\/a>\u00a0delivered 25 aircraft in Quarter 1 of 2024, a 67% increase on 2023 when it delivered just 15. Of the delivered aircraft, 18 were from Embraers executive jet product line and seven were from the commercial product line.<\/p>\n

The figures were announced as part of\u00a0Embraer<\/a>\u2019s Q1 results which showed the company had revenue of $897 million, a year on year increase of more than 25% (After EBIT adjustments $6.8m)<\/p>\n

Sales of its jets also saw the companies backlog increase to its highest level in seven years with firm orders totalling $21.1 billion on the books.<\/p>\n

Embraer<\/a>\u2019s commercial product line was particularly buoyant with margins increasing to 3.2% on average on products including the E195 E2 which has proved popular with airlines.<\/p>\n

Since its founding in 1969,\u00a0Embraer<\/a>\u00a0has delivered 8000 aircraft around the world including regional jets such as the RJ series and later the E-Jets as well the highly popular Phenom executive jet range.<\/p>\n

Its latest commercial offering, the E-Jets E2 range is already in service with 13 airlines and orders totalling 306 aircraft being obtained. The E195 E2 has been the most popular with 93 having been delivered so far.<\/p>\n

The shorter E175 E2 has seen 19 deliveries so far.<\/p>\n
