Low-cost carrier Pegasus Airlines has launched a new route between Istanbul and the Slovakian capital Bratislava. The new direct service between Istanbul Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en Airport and Bratislava Airport will operate twice weekly.<\/p>\n

Flights will depart on Wednesdays and Sundays from Istanbul Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en Airport to Bratislava Airport at 11.55 and 10.20 local time and on the same days at 14.00 and 12.30 local time from Bratislava Airport to Istanbul Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en Airport.<\/p>\n

Emre\u00a0Pekesen,\u00a0Sales\u00a0and\u00a0Network\u00a0Planning\u00a0Group\u00a0Director\u00a0of\u00a0Pegasus\u00a0Airlines said: \u201cWe\u00a0are\u00a0delighted to be launching a scheduled service connecting Bratislava and Slovakia with the Turkish metropolis of Istanbul, marking our 100th international route, with flights operating twice a week between Bratislava Airport and our hub, Istanbul Sabiha G\u00f6k\u00e7en Airport. Pegasus Airlines is proud to connect the two countries with a scheduled direct service, offering a unique experience to all who travel with us. We\u00a0are also looking\u00a0forward to launching flights between Bratislava and Antalya from 18 May 2024 for the summer season. We would also like to thank the management of Bratislava Airport for their exceptional cooperation.\u201d<\/p>\n

Du\u0161an Novota, Chairman of the Board and General Director of the M. R. \u0160tef\u00e1nik Airport, said: \u201cAt Bratislava Airport, we are welcoming a brand new scheduled air carrier today, which will operate its direct flights to Istanbul not only in the summer, but also in the winter season. Thanks to scheduled flights to Istanbul, Bratislava has a connection with an airport, which is a hub \u2013 therefore offering the option of transfer connections, e.g. to Cappadocia, Kuwait or Georgia and other destinations within the Pegasus Airlines network. The scheduled year-round route to Istanbul will be joined by the carrier\u2019s direct route to Antalya along with other scheduled and charter flights to (and from) Antalya, and so this year we expect that the highest number of passengers to date will fly from Bratislava to T\u00fcrkiye.\u201d<\/p>\n

Pegasus Airlines has an expanding network of 138 destinations: 35 within T\u00fcrkiye and 103 international destinations.<\/p>\n
