We will also bring experts from the department to investigate this. Action will be taken based on the report that will come,\u201d Naidu said.<\/p>\n<p>At Delhi\u00a0<a id=\"event-47127\" class=\"ie-click-event\" href=\"https:\/\/financialexpress.com\/about\/airport\/\" rel=\"noamphtml\" data-post-id=\"event-47127\" data-event-category=\"Keyword_To_URL_widget\" data-event-action=\"click\" data-event-label=\"Desktop_3538517\">Airport<\/a>\u2019s Terminal 1, a section of the canopy collapsed early on Friday morning due to heavy rain, leaving one person dead and several injured.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFollowing the collapse of the Delhi T1 terminal this morning, I have personally inspected the site. Our immediate priority was the safe evacuation of all passengers from the terminal. Consequently, all flights scheduled until 2 PM have been cancelled. Passengers will receive full refunds or have the option to rebook on alternative flights and routes. Flights scheduled to depart after 2 PM will be operated from T2 and T3,\u201d the Union Civil\u00a0<a id=\"event-\" class=\"ie-click-event\" href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/business\/airlines-aviation\/\" rel=\"noamphtml\" data-post-id=\"event-\" data-event-category=\"Keyword_To_URL_widget\" data-event-action=\"click\" data-event-label=\"Desktop_3538517\">Aviation<\/a> Minister wrote in a letter.<\/p>\n<p>The Minister of Civil Aviation also paid visits to the national capital\u2019s Safdarjung and AIIMS hospitals, where he spoke with injured parties following a partial ceiling collapse at Terminal 1 of New Delhi\u2019s Indira Gandhi International Airport (IGIA). \u201cWe are committed to providing compensation to the family of the deceased and to those injured. Prime Minister\u00a0<a id=\"event-10706\" class=\"ie-click-event\" href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/about\/narendra-modi\/\" rel=\"noamphtml\" data-post-id=\"event-10706\" data-event-category=\"Keyword_To_URL_widget\" data-event-action=\"click\" data-event-label=\"Desktop_3538517\">Narendra Modi<\/a>\u00a0ji is closely monitoring the situation and has assured us of full support. Our thoughts are with all those affected by this unfortunate event,\u201d he stated.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Other airports to be inspected<\/strong><\/h2>\n<p>He further said that they will also inspect all airport buildings across the country to ensure that this doesn\u2019t happen again. \u201cA review has been called today. 20 lakh compensation has been announced for the deceased and Rs 3 lakh each for the injured. We are taking care of the injured who are admitted to the hospital. One death has occurred, and four are injured. The building that was inaugurated by the PM was a different one.
