The figure represents an increase of 70.8% on the year before but is down 8.9% on the pre-pandemic 2019. The airport\u2019s recovery rate during 2022 is above the European industry average and outperformed the airport\u2019s earlier estimates it would handle some five million travellers during the year. The number of commercial aircraft movements stood at 65.644 during the year.
