\nA statement by the ministry received by the Iraqi News Agency (INA) stated that “Iraqi Airways transported 308,031 passengers during the month of September on 1,844 flights, achieving a distinguished performance in terms of domestic and international flights.”
\nThe statement added that “the high rates of demand for the company’s services and the increase in air traffic indicate the success of the Iraqi Airways operational plan, which is directly supervised by the Minister of Transport, Razzaq Muhaibis Al-Saadawi, who is keen to enhance the position of Iraqi Airways in the region.”
