As Emirates ramps up its operations in Morocco, the airline will replace the Boeing 777-300ER with the Airbus A380 on flights between Dubai International Airport (DXB) and Casablanca Mohammed V International Airport (CMN).<\/p>\n

The change of aircraft will begin on April 15, 2022, and the A380 will replace the 777 on flight EK751\/EK752, a round-trip itinerary between DXB and CMN. \u201cThe enhancement of capacity between Casablanca and Dubai will offer leisure and business travelers more opportunities to connect to Dubai and beyond to cities across the Middle East and GCC, Europe, the Americas, and West Asia,\u201d the airline said in a press release on January 18, 2023.<\/p>\n

\u201cThe flagship A380\u2019s deployment to Morocco is also a testament of the airline\u2019s commitment to support inbound visitor arrivals as the country double downs its efforts to reinvigorate its tourism industry,\u201d read Emirates\u2019 announcement. \u201cThe airline has been operating to Morocco for over 20 years and has carried more than 3.5 million passengers on the route.\u201d<\/p>\n

The DXB-based airline has been ramping up its A380 operations, deploying the aircraft to 40 destinations across the globe. By the end of summer 2023, the double-decker will operate in almost 50 airports or 90% of Emirates\u2019 pre-pandemic network.<\/p>\n

Most recently, Emirates also announced that it would be resuming daily non-stop flights between DXB and Hong Kong International Airport (HKG) from March 29, 2023, following the easing of COVID-19 restrictions in Hong Kong and mainland China. The flight between the two cities will also be operated with an A380, complementing the existing flights from DXB to HKG via Bangkok Suvarnabhumi Airport (BKK).<\/p>\n
