On January 16, the A380 took off from Dresden Airport, marking its readiness for the next phase of preparation.<\/p>\n<p>The aircraft, registration 9H-GLOBL, will now be stationed in Beja, Portugal, where final adjustments and enhancements will be made before its official entry into commercial service.<\/p>\n<p>In a LinkedIn post celebrating the achievement, Global Airlines said: \u201cA heartfelt thank you to EFW, a global leader in aviation maintenance, for taking such excellent care of our inaugural aircraft and getting it back up in the air where it belongs.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Looking ahead,\u00a0<a href=\"http:\/\/www.globalairlines.com\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">Global Airlines<\/a>\u00a0plans to launch its highly anticipated flights between London Heathrow and New York JFK in 2025, partnering with Portuguese carrier Hi Fly which will operate the aircraft.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Global Airlines, the British start-up aiming to revolutionise commercial flying, has reached a significant milestone as its first Airbus A380 aircraft successfully completes heavy maintenance in Germany.
