Budget air travel has become less affordable due to new environmental charges on airline tickets imposed by the French government. Furthermore, rising fuel prices and airport taxes have made the economy more difficult for low-cost airlines like Ryanair.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Difficulties with Regulation<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>France\u2019s stringent labour rules have caused conflict between Ryanair and regulatory bodies in the past. In France, airlines must adhere to strict employment laws, which\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/travelradar.aero\/ryanair-faces-possible-strike-action-europe\/\">raise staffing costs<\/a>\u00a0and increase the risk of labour strike interruptions.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>Strikes by Air Traffic Control (ATC)<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>In recent years, France has experienced several air traffic control strikes that have caused several flight cancellations and delays. Due to these disruptions, Ryanair, one of the biggest low-cost airlines in Europe, has been disproportionately impacted, resulting in enormous financial losses and unhappy customers. The airline has advocated for reforms throughout Europe on several occasions to stop national ATC strikes from impacting aircraft that are merely flying over France.<\/p>\n<ul>\n<li><strong>The Influence of Competition<\/strong><\/li>\n<\/ul>\n<p>Even though Ryanair dominates the European low-cost travel market, it faces fierce competition from EasyJet, Transavia, and Vueling.
