While a complete merger is still months away, both airlines have now integrated their reservation systems along with other customer-facing processes.<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"common-website\">Common website<\/h2>\n<p>As\u00a0Air India Express\u00a0and\u00a0AirAsia India\u00a0prepare for an official merger in the coming months, they have already completed a significant milestone in that journey. This gave the Tatas a free hand to plan the merger of the airline.<\/p>\n<p>Since then, AirAsia India changed its name to AIX Connect Pvt Ltd, and Aloke Singh, the CEO of Air India Express, also took charge of the airline.
