Until the latest schedule filing,\u00a0Qatar Airways\u00a0had no\u00a0Doha-Bangkok Airbus A380 flights bookable for July-October. Now it has extended A380 service\u00a0and<\/em>\u00a0increased it from the present daily to double daily.<\/p>\n

Qatar Airways’ A380s to Bangkok<\/h2>\n

The Qatar flag carrier has 10 517-seat\u00a0A380s, seven active as of April 3rd. According to the carrier’s website and OAG and Cirium, two of its four daily Bangkok flights will see the double-decker quadjet this July-October. Until the weekend of April 1st, they were entirely by the\u00a0Boeing 777-300ER<\/a>.<\/p>\n

Don’t be misled. Qatar Airways is used to having a double daily A380 service to Bangkok. It operated at that frequency to Thailand until March 25th, 2023, before reducing to daily. From October 2015 until June 2016, it operated up to triple daily, a frequency that returned briefly in 2022.<\/p>\n

June-October Bangkok flights<\/h2>\n

This is its\u00a0June-October<\/strong>\u00a0schedule to\/from the Thai capital, with all times local. The two A380 flights mean that, on a given July-October day, Qatar Airways now has 1,785 departing seats for sale to Bangkok (double for both ways), up by 19% versus the previously planned 1,502.<\/p>\n
