Qatar Airways’s Boeing 787 returns to Birmingham<\/h2>\n

After suspending the direct service to the UK’s second-largest city amid the COVID-19 pandemic, Qatar Airways has announced it will resume direct flights to the city in the British Midlands starting July 9th.<\/p>\n

According to the airline, Qatar Airways will operate daily flights throughout the summer season. The tables below summarise the airline’s schedule to and from Birmingham.<\/p>\n

The carrier has opted for the\u00a0Boeing 787-8<\/a>\u00a0to operate this service. Qatar’s Boeing 787 seats 22 passengers in business class and 232 in the economy section, translating into a total\u00a0capacity<\/a>\u00a0of 254 seats per segment.<\/p>\n

Indeed, the UK’s second-largest city is located in the heart of the country, meaning 90% of the UK can be reached within four hours. Besides being one of the country’s most significant industrial and commercial centers, Birmingham also offers many historic and uncommon attractions. For instance, the city is known for the silversmith profession, to the point that a whole quarter of the city, the Jewellery Quarter, is the birthplace of 40% of the UK’s jewelry.<\/p>\n
