Leading UK low-cost airline\u00a0easyJet<\/a>\u00a0(U2\/EZY) has placed its 8th\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0A320 aircraft at Belfast International Airport (BFS\/EGAA) for the launch of easyJets new service to Rhodes, Greece.<\/p>\n

The airline is operating its biggest ever network from Northern Ireland this summer with a 23% increase of capacity compared to pre-pandemic levels offering up to 4.7 million seats.<\/p>\n

Ali Gayward,\u00a0easyJet<\/a>\u2019s UK Country Manager, said:\u00a0\u201cWe are delighted to be welcoming the arrival of our eighth aircraft in Belfast today and to be celebrating the launch of our new summer route to Rhodes, both of which are a testament to our continued success and commitment to our customers by providing greater choice and direct connectivity to more of the fantastic destinations Europe has to offer, for what will be our biggest ever summer in Northern Ireland.<\/em><\/p>\n
