Furthermore, if the airline manages to begin flights, how successful could they possibly be flying transatlantic routes with an\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/airbus-a380\/\">Airbus A380<\/a>?<\/p>\n<h2 id=\"a-bizarre-business-model\">A bizarre business model<\/h2>\n<p>The fledgling company&#8217;s business model is jam-packed with contradictions, many of which would prevent the carrier from profitably entering its target markets.<\/p>\n<p>In a 2021 targeted pitch to investors, the airline described its strategy as follows:<\/p>\n<section class=\"emaki-custom-block emaki-custom-pullquote\">\n<div id=\"custom_block_7\" class=\"emaki-custom pullquote\">\n<p>Completely disrupting the world of aviation; bringing back a golden age of air travel with a modern flair. Focus on Transatlantic travel where quality competition is at a minimum.<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>This statement alone raises an unbelievably large amount of questions that do not have straightforward answers. Apparently, these are not flights that abide by the carrier&#8217;s model of serving Transatlantic routes with &#8220;quality service.&#8221;<\/p>\n<section class=\"emaki-custom-block emaki-custom-tip\">\n<div id=\"custom_block_13\" class=\"emaki-custom tip\">\n<p>Get all the latest\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/simpleflying.com\/tag\/aviation-news\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noopener\">aviation news<\/a>\u00a0right here on Simple Flying<\/p>\n<\/div>\n<\/section>\n<p>Furthermore, one or two daily services on these extremely busy routes are unlikely to help Global Airlines fill their A380s with premium travelers, who will disproportionately want to fly at the most convenient time and on the carrier they know best and maintain loyalty towards. Why would someone pay &#8220;a premium&#8221; to fly with an Xbox in a recliner seat for just a few hours?<\/p>\n<p>Does the carrier seriously believe that Gen Z-ers are so attached to their video games they would pay significantly more to not have to put them down for a flight from London to New York? Or that they wouldn&#8217;t just purchase an economy ticket and play video games on a personal electronic device?<\/p>\n<p>These questions are incredibly difficult to find accurate answers to.<\/p>\n<div class=\"ad-even\"><\/div>\n<h2 id=\"the-bottom-line\">The Bottom Line<\/h2>\n<p>Is it very tough to see how Global Airlines could achieve profitability with this business model.
