Low-cost carrier\u00a0IndiGo<\/a>\u00a0announced a significant order for additional\u00a0Airbus<\/a>\u00a0aircraft at the Paris Air Show last month. The historic order established the airline as the world’s largest A320 Family customer, with orders exceeding 1,300 planes.<\/p>\n

As the announcement caught the eyes of many, the airline did not specify details of the order until Thursday. More than half of the June order comprises A321neos, which will significantly expand its current fleet of the aircraft type.<\/p>\n

According to a Twitter post from Richard Schuurman, a freelance aviation reporter, details regarding the massive order indicate that IndiGo expects more than 100 new A320neos.<\/p>\n
