The cargo carrier reportedly expects to launch services at the end of this month to four domestic destinations, including\u00a0Cox’s Bazar;\u00a0Jessore;\u00a0Dhaka; and\u00a0Chittagong.<\/p>\n

Chief Executive Officer and Managing Director Nizam Ahmad was not immediately available for comment. The company posted photos on social media of its AOC celebration ceremony attended by CAAB chairman M Mafidur Rahman.<\/p>\n

As reported earlier, the startup took delivery of its maiden aircraft –\u00a0ATR72-200(F), S2-AJQ (msn 395) \u2013 from owner\u00a0ACIA Aero\u00a0after it was granted a No Objection Certificate (NOC) from CAAB on December 17. It reportedly planned to add a second ATR72 by the end of February and a\u00a0B737-800\u00a0freighter later.<\/p>\n

22.12.2021 – 05:43 UTC<\/span>NXT Air\u00a0(NXA,\u00a0Dhaka) has taken delivery of its maiden aircraft after being granted its No Objection Certificate (NOC) from the Civil Aviation Authority of Bangladesh (CAAB) on December 17.<\/p>\n

ATR72-200(F)\u00a0S2-AJQ (msn 395) was ferried to the start-up’s\u00a0Cox’s Bazar<\/a>\u00a0base on December 21, the start-up said in a statement to the Bangladeshi press.<\/p>\n

NXT Air plans to operate international cargo flights using a fleet that will include a second ATR72 and a\u00a0B737-800\u00a0freighter.<\/p>\n
