In fact, according to officials with the Air Care Alliance (ACA), every pilot who completes a volunteer application through the alliance\u2019s website applies to three different organizations on average.<\/p>\n<p>However, logging into multiple systems to see and choose available flights is \u201cneither efficient nor ideal,\u201d ACA officials say.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMany flights go unfilled \u2014 meaning passengers don\u2019t get where they need to go,\u201d ACA officials explained. \u201cAnd many potential volunteers stagnate or give up on finding flights at all.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>ACA officials say they have heard feedback from pilots and organizations that having one central place for pilots to view and select flight opportunities would help bolster the ability to serve more individuals in need.<\/p>\n<p>One solution is a Common Flight Board where pilots can see and select flight opportunities from multiple organizations across the country with one log in.<\/p>\n<p>That\u2019s why ACA is working to get a common flight board underway, but they need help.<\/p>\n<p>Officials note there are three ways to show your support:<\/p>\n<p><center><\/p>\n<div id=\"avp_zid_34_or_33_1\"><\/div>\n<p><\/center><\/p>\n<ol>\n<li>If you are a volunteer pilot, join ACA\u2019s user group to provide feedback on the user experience. Start by\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=AqUpev8CMkOqp2lqZAS5-7H1KplENo1DlBZv1GGPZz5UNTlPSEIyQU9OUkpEMzdRWkJLSFAxQVlIVi4u\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\" data-type=\"URL\" data-id=\"https:\/\/forms.office.com\/pages\/responsepage.aspx?id=AqUpev8CMkOqp2lqZAS5-7H1KplENo1DlBZv1GGPZz5UNTlPSEIyQU9OUkpEMzdRWkJLSFAxQVlIVi4u\">completing this survey<\/a>.<\/li>\n<li>If you represent a Volunteer Pilot Organization, opt in today to be included in this project.
