French regional turboprop specialist ATR has been awarded an order for two new ATR42-600 aircraft by Maldavian Airlines.<\/p>\n
The national airline of the Maldives will use the new more efficient aircraft to replace older generation aircraft and will join its existing two ATR72-600 and one ATR42-600 aircraft already in its fleet.<\/p>\n
Powered by the new PW127XT engines and equipped with a spaciousccabin, the new ATRs will allow Maldivian to ffer further reliable and affordable connectivity to the archipelago\u2019s communities and businesses, contributing to the Maldives\u2019 economic dynamism whilst lowering emissions<\/p>\n
