{"id":9805,"date":"2023-11-04T06:44:13","date_gmt":"2023-11-04T06:44:13","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/aviation-news.info\/?p=9805"},"modified":"2023-11-04T06:44:13","modified_gmt":"2023-11-04T06:44:13","slug":"air-india-to-induct-30-jets-for-winter","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/aviation-news.info\/?p=9805","title":{"rendered":"Air India to induct 30 jets for winter"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Air aviation news &#8211; Air India will take delivery of 30 new aircraft and add more than 400 flights a week in the winter schedule, which started in the last week of October.<\/p>\n<p>Between now and March 2024, the airline expects to induct over 30 widebody and narrow body aircraft to its fleet, including six A350s, four B777s and 20 A320neos.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAround 200 of these new flights will be on international routes, adding frequencies and connecting new city pairs between\u00a0<a id=\"event-\" class=\"ie-click-event\" href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/india-news\/\" rel=\"noamphtml\" data-post-id=\"event-\" data-event-category=\"Keyword_To_URL_widget\" data-event-action=\"click\" data-event-label=\"Desktop_3296741\">India<\/a> and North America, Europe and Southeast Asia,\u201d Campbell Wilson, MD and CEO, said in a communication sent to Air India\u2019s employees.<\/p>\n<p>At the onset of the Winter Schedule 2023, the airline has ramped up frequency to 25x weekly flights (each way) on eight international routes across points in Southeast Asia, the United States and Europe.<\/p>\n<p>The\u00a0<a id=\"event-\" class=\"ie-click-event\" href=\"https:\/\/www.financialexpress.com\/jobs-career\/\" rel=\"noamphtml\" data-post-id=\"event-\" data-event-category=\"Keyword_To_URL_widget\" data-event-action=\"click\" data-event-label=\"Desktop_3296741\">carrier<\/a>\u00a0will start direct flights between Mumbai and Melbourne in December.
